Early in November 1943 the Folmer Graflex Corp. manufacturers of Speed Graphic and Graflex cameras and accessories, was awarded the Army-Navy "E" pennant in recognition of production in the war program, The impressive ceremonies were held before a large audience in Rochester's famous Eastman Theather.

The Army Navy "E" Flag, for hight achievement in the production of war equipment, flies over the GRAFLEX Plant. To every member of the GRAFLEX organization it is a symbol of work well done and a challenge to even greater accomplishment.
